I spoke on the phone to 2 knowledgeable and helpful guys, Gorgios(? night time) and Ian( day time). They helped sort out my booking. The information had been passed on to the lady at reception so she knew the story and was so pleasant and chatty. The night reception guy on Sunday night was so helpful too. We wanted a coffee/tea when we came back from a wedding but had no milk. I called the mobile number we'd been given. He was going to bring it up to us but my hubby went down and he was waiting at the lift door when it opened with the wee bottle of milk. There were teabags and sugar and a small pa k of proper, good quality, ground coffee and a cafetiere. I hate instant coffee so that was a lovely bonus for me. What a brilliant find! This is a great studio apartment. It has everything you'd need during your stay. In the kitchen, there are plenty utensils and dishes, so you could cook a full meal if you wanted to. Everything is spotless! The bed is a super king I think. It was very comfortable and the pillows were just how I like them. The furniture and soft furnishings are the best of quality. The bathroom is a great size, no window, but the lighting is bright. The shower is BIG and so easy to use and access. The towels were very plush and a great size.

The hotel is ideally located for accessing central Glasgow facilities such as restaurants, museums, galleries, walking tours, exhibitions and shops. The Glasgow Queen Street station is a few walking strides to reach which makes it easy when pulling suitcases or carrying rucksacks to the Native from the station. No taxi needed. It is also convenient being so close to the station from the hotel to achieve day trips out by train. For example we went to Falkirk to see the Kelpies sculptures using the train, bus and walking. Likewise, the subway underground train situated in Buchanan Street is within walking distance from the Native. Again, this widens choices about travel to other nearby Scottish areas. We dined in Partick one evening. Making the most of easy use of public transport is a bonus for guests. The buses are near the hotel in terms of stops and access. We took a bus to the Burrel Collection in Pollock Park. So easy, being 3 miles away from the hotel. Getting around Glasgow is just as important as staying in a hotel that offers guidance about local transport. The Native is in the best site for this.

First time staying at these apartments. Had booked a studio.but on arrival I had been upgraded to penthouse suite with balcony. Room was beautiful with large bathroom with walk in shower. The whole apartment was immaculate and the kitchen was well equipped. The balcony was small but enough for 2 chairs.and with a view over the Counting House onto George Square. A lovely touch. The only negative for me was the heat in the room. It was roasting and the thermometer was down to 18 deg. Ended up having to open the balcony door through the night to let some air in. There appears to be renovations ongoing and so the only lift is lined with padded drapes to protect the surfaces. Makes it look a bit like a padded cell 🤣 Great location, staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again

I had an amazing apartment at Native Glasgow. So spacious. Even included a washer / dryer. The staff were particularly welcoming and so helpful! I had a few things that I needed help with - how to work the washer/dryer combo; taxi to the airport on Christmas morning at 3:30am; how to get to a venue - they were so kind and ready to help. I really appreciated it after my last experience in another city. The location was so convenient for me to George Square, Buchanan Street, buses, and the subway. It's a short walk to the River Clyde. I had no problem getting around the city without a car. Walking and buses worked just fine. Queen Street Station is just around the corner. Just a wonderful place to stay.

The one bedroom apartment was very large for the UK. I'd confirmed it had a washer/dryer in my unit and this worked well. Clean unit. Solid comfortable bed with good linens. Towels were lovely and shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water. Nice black out shades for sleeping when the sun goes down after 2230. Kitchen set for the basics of tea and coffee and some plates/cutlery and kettle and french press. Continuous refills on milk in glass jars for tea/coffee and refills on tea/coffee on request. So very much nicer than a powder. Restaurants and bars from casual to higher end all within steps of the front door, or at -1 level of the hotel.
